Be A Dental Inventor Contest 2011
In celebration of Children's Dental Health Month in February 2011, Dr. Fresh is sponsoring a toothbrush design contest! This year, the competition celebrates its fifth anniversary with a special twist. For the first time, in addition to the drawing category, video submissions will be accepted and eligible for prizes in a separate category. Dr. Fresh wants to know what kind of toothbrush you want to create. If you could make a toothbrush what would it look like? What would it do? Join Dr. Fresh and the Fireflies in creating your own amazing toothbrush and send it in today!
| Grand Prize: | $500 U.S. savings bond, 2 tickets to Disneyland, 2 nights hotel, airfare included and a trip to Buena Park, CA to visit Dr. Fresh headquarters. Must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. There will be one first place prize that will be awarded for the drawing category and one first place prize for the video submission. |

| To enter Drawing: | Children, 2nd-5th grade, should submit an original drawing of their toothbrush design accompanied by a brief written description (100 words or less) on why they think kids would like to use their toothbrush. All media – paints, crayons, chalk, pencils, and markers – are accepted. Please visit www.fireflytoothbrush.com to download the entry form |
| To enter Video: | A video submission can also be accepted where children can describe (100 words or less) why the "inventor" thinks other kids would like to brush with their toothbrush. The video must be no longer than a minute and the "inventor" must be featured in the video. Judges will be looking for originality, creativity, and motivational appeal. No licensed (e.g. cartoon) characters may be used, and all work must be the entrant's own. No purchase necessary. Entries must be original, and be accompanied by an official contest entry form or reasonable facsimile thereof. |

| Register for Video: | Register under the "Video Dental Inventor Login" at www.fireflytoothbrush.com and be sure to click the link on the e-mail that will be sent to you confirming your registration. For consideration, a link of your completed video should be submitted on www.fireflytoothbrush.com from your Youtube account. Also, complete the registration form on site and click on the "register button" if you agree to the terms and conditions of the program.
